FAQ’S About Assistance.

 

 Q. Who does the Joseph Michael Kolarcik Foundation help?

 A. JMKF provides financial assistance to families of stillborn babies and unexpected death of babies up to 12 months of age.

 

Q. Does Joseph Michael Kolarcik Foundation help families who receive financial assistance from other foundations or public assistance?

A. No JMKF’s goal is to help families that are in the most of need. If you are on public assistance contact your local social services department for information on how they can assistance you.

 

Q. How do families request assistance?

A. At this time we are still updating our website if you are in need of assistance please contact us by or e-mail for a request assistance form.  518-878-9000 or Cynthia@jmkf.org.

 

Q. How long does the process take from start to finish?

A. If all your paper work is in order we ask for two weeks. If you are in need of immediate assistance please let us know your form.

 

Q. Do payments go directly to families?

A. No all payments will be mailed directly to funeral homes.

 

Q. Does Joseph Michael Kolarcik Foundation help with arrangements?

A. JMKF will be happy to help with your funeral arrangements.

 

Q. Does Joseph Michael Kolarcik Foundation keep all families information confidential?

A. All of our files are kept confidential and we use first names only.

A. All donations are used to run the JMKF and help families in need.

 

Q. Are my donations tax deductible?

A. We are an applied 501 C3 right now and are hoping to be approved by the summer of 2010.
